Welcome to CashBook, built by Annulus Technology Private Limited ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of the CashBook website, mobile application, and related services ("Services"). By using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Introduction
- CashBook is a business expense management platform that allows businesses to issue and manage employee wallets for streamlined expense tracking.
- The wallets are issued by Obopay Mobile Technology Private Limited, an RBI-licensed Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) provider.
- By using the wallet services, you also agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Obopay Mobile Technology Private Limited.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.
- Businesses must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification as mandated by regulatory authorities.
- Employee wallets are subject to full KYC verification before activation.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials.
- We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access due to user negligence.
4. Wallet Services
4.1 Master Wallet and Employee Wallets
- Businesses receive a Master Wallet, which can be funded via bank transfer (Net Banking, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS).
- Employers can issue wallets to employees, which can be topped up from the Master Wallet.
- Wallets are non-transferable and can only be used for legitimate business expenses.
4.2 Wallet Transactions & Velocity Limits
- Employees can use wallets to make payments via UPI Scan & Pay, UPI ID, Collect Request, and Intent-based payments.
- Transactions are governed by NPCI’s UPI guidelines.
- Wallets are prepaid instruments and cannot be used for cash withdrawals.
- Transaction velocity limits (maximum number and value of transactions) for P2P (person-to-person) and P2M (person-to-merchant) transactions are determined by Obopay and NPCI.
- These limits may be updated at any time without prior notice.
- CashBook does not control or set these limits and is not responsible for any restrictions imposed.
4.3 Expiry and Inactivity
- Unused balances may be subject to expiry as per RBI and Obopay policies.
- Inactive accounts for a prolonged period may be marked as dormant or blocked .
5. Subscription Fees and Charges
- Wallet services are subject to a subscription fee, which will be displayed on the pricing page.
- The subscription fee is non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
- Failure to pay the subscription fee may result in suspension or termination of wallet services.
- Additional transactional fees may be applicable as per Obopay’s policies.
6. Compliance with Laws
- Users must comply with all applicable financial, anti-money laundering (AML), and KYC laws.
- Any fraudulent or suspicious activity may result in suspension or termination of services.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
- We act as a facilitator for expense management and do not provide banking or wallet issuance services.
- Obopay Mobile Technology Private Limited is responsible for wallet issuance, KYC compliance, and fund security.
- We are not liable for:
- Any wallet transaction failures due to technical issues.
- Unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.
- Losses due to incorrect UPI payments.
- Velocity limits imposed by Obopay or NPCI.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
- Your data is handled as per our Privacy Policy.
- We ensure compliance with Indian data protection laws.
- Your financial and personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
9. Termination and Suspension
- We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms.
- Fraudulent activity is detected.
- Regulatory authorities require us to do so.
- Subscription fees are unpaid beyond the due date.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes will be governed by the laws of India.
- Disputes related to wallet services must be directed to Obopay Mobile Technology Pvt. Ltd..
- Other disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Bangalore, India.
11. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- Users will be notified of changes via email or app notifications.
